Pink to Make the Boys Wink

By Winyeemichelle
One of my favorite things lately is to team this cute pink jumper with my little red suede skirt.
Whenever I fancy some color in my daily look, this is usually how I go about it: a totally untraditional pairing. I love the deeper pink hue with wine red and that’s exactly what I decided to wear when I got up on Wednesday. We’d watched ‘Your Name’ the evening before and stayed up half the night chatting into the small hours before finally, blissfully falling asleep. Such a trippy storyline, but a beautiful film if you don’t think too much into the plot.
Harvey and I awoke slowly - well, he did! I prepared us morning beverages and took care of Milo’s morning routine. I love slower mornings where I can push my schedule back a touch and savour the little moments.
Golden wintry sun flushing through the curtains. Flurries of chatter outside the window as our neighbours go about their days. Catching each other up on our dreams overnight and wistfully talking through what our lives will be like when XYZ happens. Unwrapping his present that finally arrived; customised Ray-Ban’s! And then it was time to really wake up, pink and red, black on black, liberal spritzes of our matching BYREDO fragrances, an obligatory cuddle with the main man downstairs.
It was a pretty sweet day, spent running Honey + Chai errands, making plans upon plans, grabbing coffee and chasing a swell ol’ January sunset.
Wearing:
(Pink jumper, Unnamed - similar here;
Suede skirt, H&M;
'Kori' boots, Alexander Wang;
Coat, YesStyle.co.uk;
Chanel BOY - buy secondhand here;
‘YAY’ pin, The Old English Co.)
