Past few of my hauls were majorly Lipsticks and one common thing in those was that it was ALL shades of pink from trusted brands like Lakme and some new ones like Essence.
So today I will be reviewing one of the Lakme lipstick from its classic range, it is Lakme Satin Enrich lipstick in shade p163.

Lakme has been consistently making efforts to improve the overall look and quality of its products. The Classic range though is quite affordable but has been given a improved classy packaging as well. The Lakme Satin Enrich lipstick here- pretty transparent plastic case with the name printed on it and a steel finish bullet with the lipstick peeping from inside. Loved how they have followed the concept of brand name engraved on the stick.
its pretty, sturdy and easy to locate. The lipstick comes well secured in a silver carton cover and is having a push click lock to safeguard the stick.
Now talking about the colour, its pretty cool blue toned Fuschia pink. its fresh, dramatic and immediately brightens up the look. For a simple casual look, the lipstick is sufficient. I am wearing this quite often with my formal office attire. The colour is beautiful and would suit almost all kinds of indian skin tones except few on darker side.
Pigmentation-wise, a coat or two covers mild to average pigmentation quite well. The lipstick is soft, creamy and hydrating and while applying needs no tugging, effortless application.
I have extreme dry lips and usually i apply a lipstick with a lip balm beneath but with this, skipping the balm would even work as it keeps lips well moisturised till its there on lips. Colour on the lips would look fuller and creamy but will not settle in lines and gives a plumped look.
This stayed on my lips for a good 6-7 hours and even can survive a full meal. And as always said, buff your lips well for a proper finish. (tip- if you are short of time, just apply loads of lip balm and rub with a cotton hankie, this would remove dead skin immediately and you are ready to apply your favourite lipstick)

Overall Lakme Satin Enrich lipstick in shade p163 is a lovely pink shade with amazing pigmentation and staying power along with an affordable price tag. Highly Recommended!
