Pimms-o’clock

Pimms-o’clockIt’s positively baking in the office today and with the sun beating down on Hoxton Sq. and our Andy doing so well in the tennis there’s only one thing on our minds, that glorious British institution: Pimm’s. This recipe section is usually a place to talk about some of the best foreign food and drink on offer across the globe but we thought after such a spectacular weekend and with the rain no doubt imminent we would be a little patriotic.

So here’s a few ways to enjoy this national treasure:

Pimm’s Classic

In a highball or half pint glass:
1 part Pimm’s
3 parts lemonade
Ice
Garnish with orange, strawberry, mint and cucumber

Pimm’s Deuce

In a highball or half pint glass:
1 part Pimm’s
1.5 parts orange juice
1.5 parts cranberry juice
Ice
Garnish with orange and strawberry

PimPom

In a highball or half pint glass:
1 part Pimm’s
3 parts Pomegreat
Ice
Garnish with orange and ripped basil

Pimm’s Ginger

In a highball or half pint glass:
1 part Pimm’s
3 parts ginger ale
Ice
Garnish with lemon and sprig of mint

Pimm’s Royale

In a champagne flute:
25ml Pimm’s
Top up with sparkling wine
Garnish with a strawberry
