I have a true beauty to share with you today! Amethyst is a polish that was created by Picture Polish as a collaboration with my lovely friend Susan last year. When I found out she had done this, I was so excited for her!!! I was especially excited because it's absolutely gorgeous!! Amethyst is a purple base with silverish flakies and blue shimmer. It's a bit on the thick side, but manageable. It applies really well and is opaque in two coats. I used Orly Nail Defense as a base, two coats of Amethyst and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

I don't even know what else to say about this polish other than, it's so beautiful!!!! I think the pictures say it all, but trust me when I say it's even better in person. Susan really did a great job collaborating with Picture Polish on this one.
I should add that the polish did eat the top coat, so the finish wasn't very glossy even with the top coat. But I didn't even care and that's a big deal for me.
