People Paying Money For Fake Digital Boyfriends

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

The Star Phoenix reports that a service called “Invisible Boyfriend” will send you texts (apparently written by people with a good sense of humor) from a fake boyfriend for $25 a month.

Why go through all this effort? Perhaps to stop nagging parents by proving you have a boyfriend, suggests the article’s author.

3 Messages We Would Write For An Invisible Boyfriend Service For Free

1. “I can’t wait to meet your mother!”

2. “No, I can’t Facetime your mother right now. I don’t have an iPhone.”

3. “Tell her of course I exist. Show her this message. That’s totally scientific evidence.”
