I don't get this trade at all. A 23 year old and team leader in hits for a 31 year old? Granted Despres has taken a lot of stupid penalties too.
I thought that Simon had really taken a big step this season. He's had his share of mistakes, but he had become a very good player.
They say Lovejoy improved his game since he left the pens. I guess mgnt had no faith in Depres going forward. It does open the door for Dumolin though,

When will they accept that it's a goon league, and you can't "nice" your way through the playoff?
