The Wild Honey Pie favorites Pearl and the Beard headlined Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg for the very first time last Thursday night. As usual, their set was a gorgeous, unique experience that lay somewhere between a joyous sermon and heartbreaking eulogy. Opening duties were tasked by Franz Nicolay (of The Hold Steady), his bottle of red wine, and Brian Bonz.
