Paypal is about to get some competition as a new service called Zelle has teamed up with several national banks including Bank of America, Capital One, BB&T, Chase, Citi, TD Bank, Sun Trust and US Bank to name a few.
According to its site which is located at the domain name ZellePay.com, its “the new, easy way to send money in minutes directly between U.S. bank accounts — right from your mobile banking app. The country’s leading banks and credit unions have partnered to bring you a better way to move money.”
“You can find Zelle in you’re the mobile and online banking app. If you already have your mobile banking app, you won’t need to download anything to start sending money.
You can send money to almost anyone with a bank account in the U.S. All you need to know is their email address or mobile number.
