Passion Pit, Beck, Modest Mouse [suggested Nyc Concerts]

This Wednesday marks the first day of summer and this week’s concert schedule couldn’t reflect that more.  Although Jukebox The Ghost, Body Language, Lemonade, The Rapture, and Los Campesinos! are all hitting our city this week, it’s Governor’s Ball on Randall’s Island that has our attention.  The two day festival put on by Founders Entertainment is a small-ish music festival (only 25 bands playing) with big-time headliners.  With Passion Pit, Beck, Kid Cudi, Santigold, James Murphy, Modest Mouse, Fiona Apple, Explosions in the Sky, and more, Governor’s Ball is the best festival to happen to this city since, well, in a very long time.  Buy your tickets here.
