Passeggiando Per Il Centro Di Lecce. Walking in Lecce Down Town

Io adoro i centro città.
Ci passeggio sempre volentieri sia per vedere un po' i palazzi d'epoca che le vetrine, che le persone.
Nel mio viaggio inPuglia ho scoperto un centro città decisamente molto cool!

Sto parlando di Lecce!

Alcuni amici me ne avevano parlato bene, ma finchè non mi ci sono trovata non avevo idea.

I love the down towns. I always like walking in these parts of the cities and to see the old buildings, the windows of the shops and the people. During my trip visiting Puglia I discovered a city center very very cool! I'm talking about Lecce! Some my friends have told me that it is a very nice place, but I couldn't understand till I have been there.

Trovarsi nel centro di Lecce è come trovarsi abbracciati da magnifici palazzi antichi e da un diffuso color beige mattone, che sembra dare lo stesso effetto del filtro seppia nelle foto.

Being in Lecce down town is like to be in a sepia effect among amazing old palaces. I seems to be in a pic!

Già dalla porta Napoli si ha l'impressione di entrare in un posto magico, dove le scoperte architettoniche saranno di grande soddisfazione.

Da lì in poi vi troverete nel cuore pulsante del centro, dove le macchine non possono passare se non in rari casi.

Ho scoperto che questo centro è ricco di segreti!

Un esempio? Il centro storico ospita il più antico albero della città alto circa 18 metri.

Entering by the gate called "Porta Napoli" you have the impression of beeing in a magical place, where the architectural discoveries give you great satisfaction. Here you are in the heart of the city center, where cars can not pass except in rare cases. I discovered that this town is full of secrets! An example? The oldest tree of the city is in the down town!

Proprio camminando per il centro, mi sono accorta che una parte di questo è un vero e proprio labirinto in cui è facile perdersi!

A parte il fatto che non sono bravissima a leggere le piantine, ma la soluzione -che è stata la mia ancora di salvezza - è stato seguire il campanile del duomo e tornare in una zona "neutrale" da dove partire per altri tragitti interessanti e magari tematici

Just walking in the center of the city, I realized that a part of this area is a real labyrinth where it is easy to get lost! A part from the fact that I'm not so skilled in reading the maps, my solution has been to follow the bell tower of the cathedral and get back into a "neutral zone" from which I have begun other interesting and thematic vistis.

Mi sono resa conto che il centro di Lecce è visitabile per temi: le chiese , le botteghe, i palazzi.

I realized that the center of Lecce could be visited under different topics - the churches, the shops, the ancient palaces

Per scoprirla un po' meglio ho girato il centro ben tre volte...immaginatevi ad un certo punto tutti i turisti e non , seduti a mangiare e io armata di macchina fotografica a gironzolare e fotografare. Appena lontano dai ristoranti e bar ero solo io e i miei compagni di viaggio che giravamo, fotografavamo, praticamente incantati da quello che ci circondava

Il giro delle chiese merita un discorso a se

I walk visiting all the center 3 times in order to discover it better. Imagine all the tourists that were eating while I was strolling around with my camera. Just a bit far from the restaurants and the bars I was alone with my traveling fellows . We make a lot of pics and we were really wandering about the beauty of this city. If I can suggest you can organize e tour all dedicated to the churches because it could be very interesting Anyway I gonna share some pics and a list of places that - in my opinion - should be visited ... I hope can be useful to these LECCE inspirations DA VEDERE / MUST SEE in Lecce

• Anfiteatro Romano e piazza Sant'Oronzo ( da assaggiare il pasticciotto della pasticceria Franchini, una delizia!! Ovviamente accompagnato da caffè leccese)
• Piazza del duomo
• Castello di Carlo V
• Chiesa di San Nicolò dei Greci
• Convitto Palmieri ( da poco riaperto)
• Palazzo dei Celestini
• Museo Provinciale Sigismondo Catromediano ( un gioiello: il museo più antico della Puglia!)
• Chiesa di Santa Chiara
• Ex conservatorio di Sant'Anna
• Palazzo Marrese e Palazzo Palmieri ( un esempio di magnifico barocco)
• Porta Napoli e Porta San Biagio
