Parting (from) Palma

palma mallorcaAnd here it is (at long last I hear you all say!!), my final post on Palma.  I think you can all agree that although having only spent 7 days in Palma we certainly made the most of our time visiting so many different places and exploring areas off the beaten tourist track. Perhaps sometimes it’s good to only visit a place for a short time as you are made more aware of really utilising all your time there. We paid a dutiful visit back to the market which was buzzing with Saturday shoppers and of course we had to purchase an air-tight container of olives. Air-tight containers are “simply a must” when traveling. After tasting several varieties we finally settled and are still enjoying them back home in the “P-P’house” with the fire warming us on these chilled evenings. How fabulous are these ladies sitting sewing? Perfectly, perfectly content. Isn’t the lady in the middle (sewing the polka dot piece with the white t-shirt) beautiful? She was my fav. We then paid a visit to Cappuccino (remember the other day we loved their menus?) to show fa what he had missed out on. Decisions. A non-alcoholic cocktail for fa. ...
