Pak Pong Ju Visits Farms in S. Hwanghae Province, Ryongaksan Water Factory

DPRK state media reported on October 11 (Tuesday) that Premier Pak Pong Ju (Pak Pong-chu) visited the Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory in Pyongyang and cooperative farms in South Hwanghae Province.

Pak “learned in detail about the farming in Yonan and Paech’o’n Counties.”  He “encouraged the officials and agricultural workers in their drive to successfully complete the farming year.”  Pak Pong Ju convened a “consultative meeting” which discussed “issued of successfully harvesting crops and finishing threshing in the right time by keeping threshing machines in full-capacity operation.”  Pak “stressed the need to operate a field-responsibility system within the framework of the sub-workteam management system and widely use effective farm machines.”  Pak also “instructed the relevant units to unconditionally provide electricity, materials and other things necessary for harvesting and threshing.”
