Painting and Balloons in Citi Soliel, Haiti

Posted on the 10 July 2012 by Kathybarbro
Today, Melissa, Sylwia and I went to one of the most depressed parts of Haiti, Citi Soliel. The SAKALA program is trying to bring peace to an area that hasn't had a lot of it, all by working with the local children. We painted watercolor pictures of vegetables, made beaded necklaces, and lastly broke out some balloons for a little free play and dance. It was very loud and very fun!Painting and Balloons in Citi Soliel, HaitiPainting and Balloons in Citi Soliel, Haiti
