Overflowing Orbs of Sweetness

Hey guys, I’m a little down this morning. I bet my usual readers noticed there was no dinner post last night. I wanted to, but if you read my Scatterbrain post you know kind of what’s going on. I have legitimately lost my little point and shoot camera.

It’s gone! There is nowhere else to look.

Anyways, I’m using my Dad’s big Canon EOS 5D which is like twice the size of a Rebel. I’m also using a macro lens, which is fun but not very multi-purpose. I’m too afraid to use my Dad’s wide angle since it cost over $1,000 US dollars to replace it. Needless to say that’s pressure!

Breakfast

I made a half egg sandwich on a whole wheat bread butt with a little pizza blend cheese melted inside.

I couldn’t resist some watermelon balls and of course my tea per usual.

I used my grandma’s watermelon ball scooper-thingy. I always like making the little watermelon balls. These aren’t very perfect but I wasn’t trying to impress anyone. If it were a picnic you can bet those balls would have been perfect!

My new tea love, Choice tea!

Nothing too glamorous there, just the usual egg sandwich. I was excited to see a new loaf on top of the fridge so I could use a bread butt. The extra crust makes a better sandwich, I think.

This entire breakfast was 321 calories! According to My Fitness Pal.

Cameras

I have to confess I’ve been in the market for a new camera for a while. I really like taking pictures, blogging has helped with that, and I thought my pictures could get a little bit better with a more advanced camera. I just wasn’t expecting to have to make a $500+ decision right now. I thought I’d maybe think about it from last June to this Christmas.

My Dad’s camera works, but I don’t want to spend the money on a wide angle lens of my own if I would really just like a different camera, that’s smaller. The price of a new lens would be almost half of what a camera would be.

We’re also going on our first family vacation in about 3 weeks and I really want to have a working suitable camera by then, which puts a little more stress on the situation.

Ahh, Where is my cute little Canon?
