While home in Texas last week I was able to spend amazing time with the cute boy, my family and get in lunch with Sam Penner! She is such a sweetheart (love her blonde locks) and it was nice to sit down and chat about life, the future and of course blogging...p.s when(if) I move to Houston in the spring she is totally becoming my interior designer, have you seen her work?! The lunch got even funnier when she realized more Houston bloggers were sitting right next to us, one of them being the adorable Monica. I love when the world just gets smaller and smaller!
I wore this outfit not only on my lunch date with Sam but also for drinks with mom and a little shopping. One of my favorite things about being home is calling my dad (when I wake up) asking if he has lunch plans, him saying no and being able to grab many lunches with him...then as the day moves on calling my mom saying 'let me pick you up from work I am only here X more days' and grabbing a beer & shopping trip on the way home!
I still could not get over how warm it is in Texas still, I even had the opportunity to teach my 16 year old brother about the changing of leaves....sadly being raised in Houston he has never seen a beautiful fall and did not get what I kept talking about...oh the hardships of being a Texan!
