You have struck the mother-lode of moreish cookiedom! Oreo Peanut Butter Chocolate Chippers! These are so scrumptious that they are almost dangerous!
This is a cookie recipe I developed to tie in with the Degusta Easter Box and what a delicious recipe it is. Designed to take full advantage of their product of the month, Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo!

We select the best potatoes, remove just enough skin, slice them to the right thickness (we never blanch them) and then batch cook them in 100% pure sunflower oil until they are just the right texture and color. We then season the crisps using flavours sourced from passionate named producers.
Our cider vinegar is from Julian Temperley at Burrow Hill near Kingsbury Episcopi. Julian has devoted his life to growing traditional English cider apple varieties such as Kingston Black in his beautiful orchards. He then makes a number of different products such as cider and vinegar as well as award winning "Somerset Cider Brandy" All his products are for sale in his delightful shop at the farm. Julian's cider vinegar provides a unique flavor to Pipers crisps.

This was really good with some steaks I grilled last week. We use the Heinz products a lot in this house. I would not be without their catsup and their mayonnaise is fabulous. (Don't get me started on the baked beans, low sugar!)

Cadbury make the best chocolate. We really love it in this house. I decided where it was Degustabox's product of the month I would highlight it with my recipe.
We usually opt for their Turkish Delight bars, or (my personal favourite) fruit and nut. I know, we are somewhat traditionalists in this house, but this is the chocolate brand I grew up with and which I love. As soon as I saw these flavours I decided that they would go great in a recipe. I toyed with layering them in the middle of a brownie, but then decided cookies was the way to go.
And what a great decision that was. One which I am kind of regretting in a way because . . . it is impossible to eat just one of these tasty little babies. Just look at the chunks studding those beautiful biscuit/cookies. You get a healthy dose of milk chocolate, and then the crunchy bits of the oreo cookie and then as if that isn't enough, you get some ooze of peanut butter cream!
These are some of the best cookies I have baked in recent months. I think I am going to have to give them to my next door neighbor because I am at a serious risk here of destroying myself !
*Oreo Peanut Butter Chocolate Chippers*Makes 24Printable Recipe
A delicious cookie recipe I developed to make good use of a large bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Oreo Peanut Butter! Soft, and chewy with little crunchy bits of cookie and melted chocolate throughout. Very moreish if I don't say so myself!
75g of unsalted butter, softened (1/3 cup)73g of white vegetable fat (1/3 cup crisco)95g white sugar (1/2 cup)100g soft light brown sugar (1/2 cup, packed)1 large free range egg1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 tsp vanilla extract210g of plain flour (1 1/2 cups)1 (120g) bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Oreo Peanut Butter (4 1/2 ounces), chopped
Preheat the oven to 190*C/375*F/ gas mark 5. Line two medium baking trays with baking parchment. Set aside.
Cream together the butter, white vegetable fat, and both sugars until light and creamy and well blended. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Sift together the flour and soda. Stir this into the creamed mixture to blend well. Gently stir in most of the chopped chocolate bar, reserving some bits for popping onto the top. Roll into walnut sized balls and pop them onto the baking sheets, leaving at least two inches between balls. Top each with a few bits of the reserved chocolate.
Bake for 10 minutes, until set and golden brown on the edges and bottoms. Leave to cool on the baking sheet for several minutes before lifting off onto wire racks to finish cooling. Store in an airtight container. Bet you can't eat just one!
