If yesterday was a lazy Thursday, today is a loaded Friday. We just got home from a tideous-fun-filled-out-of-routine-escapade. A few hours away to unwind and shop would be a good bonus for such a robust workers like us. One mall and one resto is more than enough and my calcanial spur went on to scream. I would imagine,sitting at a park or a sunset view at the beach would be a better option but malling wasn’t a bad substitute after all plus a sumptuous Filipino meal, well it’s closer to having a perfect weekend.
We shopped for some personal effects and kiddos stuffs and hubby just bought me a sewing machine. Yay! I think I’ll be busying myself these days to learn the basics coz I know nothing to begin with. The last time I sat in front of a sewing machine was when I was in college where I messed with my Mom’s old mantle and cut it into pieces trying to sew it back and I ended nearly sewing my fingers. Yeah it was a disaster and i never had thought about sewing machine until recently when I saw a lot of DIY videos and get inspired by them. Now, I can honestly say I’m over it. I mean I’m willing to give it another try. Lets see in the coming days. I promise to blog any progress if there’s any.
Enough for the sewing machine, today was Black OOTD. Since, we have to wear abaya when we go out, I just pair it with an animal print scarf from I Love Snapee Hijab owned by a good friend Taj and a braided black sandal and a black Charles and Keith bag which was given to me by a friend.
It was really tiring but it was fun.
