Ooh La La! IT Cosmetics' Vitality Lip Flush in "Je Ne Sais Quoi" - Lip Gloss, Balm, Stain and Lipstick All Rolled Into One!!!

By Makeupguineapig @MakeUpGuineaPig

I have become completely obsessed with IT Cosmetics recently. I love everything I have tried. Today, I’m going to single out the ITCosmetics Vitality Lip Flush in “Je Ne Sais Quoi,” which I believe is their best selling shade. I suppose the formula is best compared to a staining lipstick, but I swear it’s better than a lip balm! This puppy is truly incredible and worth every cent of its $20 price tag! So what exactly makes this little bullet so wonderful? Keep reading to find out!
The Vitality Lip Flush is not just any old lipstick. It is chocked full of amazing ingredients that not only provide color to the lips, but also provide tons of benefits. To help treat and condition, the Vitality Lip Flush includes plum and cherry oils, shea butter, aloe, and jojoba. All of which also provide hydration and nourishment for the lips. As if that were not enough, the Lip Flush is also chocked full of anti-aging antioxidants like Vitamins A, C and E. It also includes Acai, Green Tea and White Tea for protection against free-radicals, which can contribute to aging of the delicate skin on and around the lips. Should I keep going with the goodness?!?! It is also free from synthetic fragrances, talc, sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, and it’s phthalate-free. It is hypo-allergenic and non-comedogenic, plus it’s made in the USA! Quite a lot of goodness crammed into one powerful little tube!
Unlike most great-for-your-lips products, the “Je Ne Sais Quoi” Vitality Lip Flush actually combines a flush of color with amazing staying power! It is designed to replace lipstick, lip balm, lip gloss and lip stain! "Je Ne Sais Quoi" looks essentially clear in the tube, but it's a self-adjusting lip color. Unlike many other self-adjusting lip products, "Je Ne Sais Quoi" not only provides a flush of color, but it stays all day! Though not as pigmented as an opaque lipstick, nor as glossy as a straight lip gloss, it provides a beautiful flush of color to the lips. It is a natural looking lip color without being too harsh, and it always works with your skin tone! As far as being hydrating like a lip balm, this is even better than most lip balms! It glides on to the lips like buttery silk, and it feels like the most nourishing thing ever to come in contact with your skin. It is truly amazing and even if you stripped away the color, I would actually use this just as a lip balm. I have never encountered such a comfortable and hydrating lip product!
Having said all that, I would tend to assume that the Vitality Lip Flush has the poor staying power of butter. Not so!!! It really does stain the lips. It provides a subtle stain that never looks crazy or patchy. It doesn’t sit in lines or dry patches and it stays relatively true to color for hours. Amazingly enough, should you get a bit outside of your lip line, it will not stain your skin…at least not if you correct the overlap in a timely manner. It does not have the typical drying feel of a stain, nor does it have that streaky, painted on look that is typical of many traditional lip stains. The Vitality Lip Flush in “Je Ne Sais Quoi” is a truly wonder product!
