While I think that the Nexus 7 is a brilliant device, especially for the money. It comes with a few flaws. The most annoying to me is that there is no HDMI output, which means getting my videos or pictures onto my TV is a pain in the arse. One of my must have apps - iMediaShare

By no means is this the only app that does this the job but its the app that I think does it the best.

Basically if you own any of these supported devices your good to Supported players: ✦ Televisions from Samsung Smart TV (w/ AllShare), LG, Sony BRAVIA Internet TV, Panasonic Viera, Toshiba and many others.

✦ Game consoles: Microsoft XBox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 (no remote control).
✦ Network Media Players: Apple TV, Sony Blu-ray, Popcorn Hour, WD TV Live, and many others.
✦ PC/Mac media servers: Twonky, Windows Media Player, and many others.
✦ Other DLNA/UPnP/AirPlay compliant media players.

I personally have a PS3 hooked up to my TV. Its as easy as just using the PS3 to browse your files on your device and pressing play. I found no problems in streaming HD films, only once did it have to stop to buffer, but i guess this depends on your network. There is a good selection of channels that you can watch and stream too, from Discovery to CNN and sky news, plus a host of random bits and bobs.

A nice touch is that you can sign into your facebook account and stream your videos and pictures

Having an app like this makes me feel a little bit better about the flaws of the nexus 7. There is a free version with ads, but i purchased the full app because of it's usefulness. I really think this is a must have app for your Nexus 7.
