The first trailer and poster for Antoine Fuqua’s Olympus Has Fallen, starring Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart, has appeared online. In this new action thriller from the director of Training Day, comes a new attack on our nations capital.
Butler plays an ex-secret service agent who must hide and silently take down the terrorists in the Oval Office in order to save the life of the President (Eckhart). While it seems like Olympus Has Fallen has a lot in common with Die Hard (One man in the position to stop the terrorists), it may just be the movie Gerard Butler needs to get on solid footing after a slew of poorly received films.
Starring Aaron Eckhart, Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, Dylan McDermott and Angela Bassett, Olympus Has Fallen opens on March 22nd.
