Looks like all of LaVar Ball’s loudmouthery and near-sabotage of his son’s career before it even began…ultimately paid off.
As you likely know, LaVar has spent the better part of the last year guaranteeing anyone who would listen that his son Lonzo was destined to be a Laker, and greater than any other Lakers player that ever walked the earth before 2017. He even went so far as to tell every other team in the league to not even bother drafting his son, because he was LA bound.
Welp, clearly he knew something everyone else didn’t, because fast forward to today and his #2 draft pick prize Lonzo is officially a member of the Lakers squad.
Damn. Maybe we all need to be purchasing some of those wildly expensive Big Baller shoes too?
