Offensive-zone Puck-possession Percentages for Each Habs Player (games 1 Through 3)

By Kicks @Chrisboucher73
Puck-managment is about making the necessary plays in order to gain, and maintain puck-possession in the offensive-zone. This post will communicate how well each player performed managing the puck. The graph included displays the percentage of all events (defensive and offensive/ all zones) each player engaged in while in possession of the puck in the offensive-zone. Those with a higher percentage spent more time with possession in the o-zone. Consequently, they spent less time defending in the defensive-zone.
As we can see by the team total, the Canadiens produced their best puck-possession performance in game 3. Game 2 is the only game where the Habs produced a lower o-zone possession percentage than their season average.
Rene Bourque produced the highest percentage of total events with possession of the puck in the offensive-zone. Other players with high o-zone possession percentages in game 3 include Tomas Plekanec, Brendan Gallagher, and Brian Gionta.
Andrei Markov had the highest o-zone possession percentage among defensmen in game 3; followed closely by PK Subban. David Desharnais is the only Habs player to have produced a higher percentage than his season average in each of the 3 games.
