Off Trail Pale Ale – Old Yale Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Chilliwack's Old Yale Brewing comes their "Off Trail Pale Ale. The beer pours a copper colour with a tan head. The aroma consists of caramel, grain, citrus with floral and herbal hops. The flavour is of grain, caramel, citrus, mild earth, spicy and herbal hops and some bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 5% with an IBU of 35. This is a well executed standard pale ale and should do the trick for a good 6 pack in the fridge beer.

Commercial Description: A generous heaping of whole leaf cascade hops are carefully balanced with malted barley and combined to deliver our refreshing Off Trail Pale Ale. We suggest pairing with a juicy burger or your favorite pizza.

Food pairings as per brewery: Coconut curry w/ rice & chicken, Mushroom meatloaf, Grilled tiger prawns, Arugula salad, Samosas, Strong cheeses
