Hip Hip Hooray! It’s Fri-YAY! Hope y’all had a FABULOUS week! Mine has been quite busy, and it’s going to continue through the weekend. We are headed to our friends’ out-of-town wedding on Saturday, and Little M is getting baptized on Sunday! We are so excited about BOTH!
I’ve been meaning to post about this off the shoulder denim top from Milk & Honey Boutique that I purchased during my Girls Weekend last month! It’s denim. #yay. It’s off the shoulder. #yay. It’s a crop top. #NOTyay. My solution to wearing these cute but a-little-too-shrunken tops is to pair them with high-waisted pants/ skirts/ culottes/ shorts. Voila! No midriffs here.
To say that I’m obsessed with off the shoulder tops is a bit of an understatement. A fashion friend once told me, “Everyone has beautiful shoulders!” #SoTrue. Plus, you can hide any jiggle arms in the sleeves. It’s the perfect balance of showing just enough skin, but not too much! I also love this tunic which is perfect for wearing over skinny jeans or flares. (BTW, you’ll see that top on a few other upcoming posts!)
To keep the look sophisticated, I added a gorgeous mother of pearl pendant. (It’s the one that I was raving about in this post!) This is the second way it can be worn! P.S. Don’t forget that Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I LOVE Julie Vos pieces, and she uses a special technique so that the gold doesn’t fade. I’ve had my first bracelet for over a year, and it looks brand new. Just sayin’… Momma would appreciate it!
