Who says the President doesn’t have a sense of humour?
During a campaign/beer stop at Gator’s Docskide restaurant in Orlando, President Barack Obama asked to see the birth certificate of a 6-year-old boy who was born in Hawaii. The joke got some appreciative laughs from the boy’s family – and, it appears, from the news media. Noted The Washington Post, “The remark was a dig at the birthers and, perhaps, at Republican nominee Mitt Romney, who was accused of embracing birtherism while making a joke about his own birth certificate at a campaign event in Michigan last month.”
