For the past few days of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I have done my very best to show the full spectrum of Ladylike Chic looks coming down the runway.  I understand that there are many ways to wear this oh-so-lovely style, so I've been really trying to give you all a peak at the different ways designers interpret this particular brief.  But tonight, yes tonight, is the night that I am going FULL ON GLAMOUR.  I'm talking dream looks here, so I wanted to give you all fair warning.  Get ready to swoon...

First up is the breathtakingly stunning Oscar de la Renta.  Mr. de la Renta showed tonight why he is New York's lead couturier with his new Spring/Summer 2013 collection.  The man can literally do every design technique under the sun and has the jaw-dropping ability to create a cohesive collection out of it all.  I especially loved the mix of lace and 3d roses that were weaved throughout the looks.

Set up among his staples of cocktail dresses, suits, and red carpet dresses, we saw a few surprises from Oscar that showed one is never to old to try something new (and succeed beautifully I might add).  The little pops of PVC were designed in such a sophisticated way that it took a second glance to figure out what they actually were.  And the neon colors?  So perfect!  Especially when they were mixed in with the simplest of black and white.

If I had to pick a favorite and I do since it's my blog, I'd choose the black and white chevron striped ball gown below.  It's just the most beautiful dress I've ever seen and only Oscar could design that.  Plus I think I even spy pockets in the skirt and I have a thing for pockets in dresses...
Now I suggest you all rush over to Style.com to view the rest of this gorgeous collection and then pop back here in about an hour for Marchesa.  Yes, I said Marchesa :)
