So these were my gal pals during the New York Fashion Week adventure! You probably recognize Cathy from The Middlepage and Heather from Style by Fluent. {They are my Chic at Every Age buddies.} The other gorgeous blonde is Erin from Busbee Style!
We had such a blast traveling around the Manhattan. I felt like I was living a Sex in the City episode (without the sex and with a lot of city)! It’s so funny because we planned a “group photo shoot” but didn’t discuss what we were going to wear. We all showed up in flares that day.
Friends who FLARE together stay together!
Cathy looked rocker chic with that lace top and skinny scarf! Note to self: get a skinny scarf STAT! Heather rocked that gorgeous wrap jacket and fringe bag. Erin’s high neck blouse and crochet sweater are the perfect way to wear flares with a feminine edge. My bell sleeved mini-dress was fabulous over flare trousers because the dress is pretty darn short! My tallest platform clogs had to be heros because I didn’t have the chance to hem the pants before traveling. Layering 3 strands of pearl necklaces finished the outfit (because I felt a little “witchy” with the all black and flares)!
It couldn’t have been more perfect, and somehow we all wore black too. Great minds think alike. Or maybe… gals who room together flare together. I know. Not too punny! Okay, I’ll stop. I think I’m delirious from being tired!
