Now Get 30GB of Free Storage with OneDrive – For Limited Time

With the release of iOS 8, many iPhone & iPad owners had a problem with updating to the latest iOS version. The amount of free storage required to download that 1.1GB update was about 7GB. Now most users who own a 32GB and higher storage devices didn’t run into any problem. But people with lower storage devices had a lot of problem to free up about 7GB of space, mainly because their storage is eaten by big-graphic-intensive apps ( games ) or media ( photos and music ). Our guide to solve that problem was spot on to what you can do to backup everything and make space for the new iOS update.

But Microsoft is taking advantage of this shortcoming to iPhone users and giving away more storage if they choose OneDrive to backup their precious photos. OneDrive is doubling the free space from 15GB to 30GB to backup your content on OneDrive.

All you have to do is sign up for OneDrive and activate the auto upload feature for your camera roll sometime between now and the end of September, and you will get 30 GB of free OneDrive storage moving forward (15 GB base and 15 GB camera roll bonus).

This is not limited to iPhone users but the same applies to Windows Phone users, Android users and Windows users. The storage will go up as well, but this offer is limited till the end of this month ( September ) so make sure you get the free 15GB space for your OneDrive account before it expires.
