NOTD: Barry M Quick Dry "Lap Of Honour"

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Barry M for me are up there with some of the best nail polishes in the biz. Actually, for me, If they re-branded themselves as a nail range or had a sister company branded like Essie or OPI, I think they could beat the bigger brands hands down.
When the new range of "Quick Dry" polishes was released, I was a tad sceptical.  I can never find a quick drying polish that is actually "quick drying" - they always end up just as smudged as the standard ones do.
NOTD: Barry Quick
I tried out this shade called "Lap of Honour" which is a pink toned muted lilac.  I have no idea if I am describing that well or if I'm pretty much describing things the way I always do - BADLY!
Anyways, this color is right up my street. It's girly without being barbie-esque and it's professional without being too gray. (who doesn't love a good gray polish?)
In terms of quick drying - I put on a stroke of this and by the time I had applied the next stroke it was partly dry already, to the point where it might look a bit uneven if you don't do the whole nail quite quickly.
I am in love with this formula and the color.  Normally every time I paint my nails I end up needing to pick something up or need to go to the toilet (#girlproblems) so they always end up smudged but I went for a shower about 5 minutes after applying this and had no smudging or crinkled pattern (you know what I'm talking about, right?).
Super impressed by Barry M's latest collection, I really hope they release more shades of it (at the moment there's only a few).
Have you tried the new 'Quick Dry' polishes?
