The H model was the ultimate Mustang to roll off the assembly line, although it came too late to see any combat.  The use of a lightened structure, combined with an uprated Packard engine, made this one hot fighter with a top speed of over 480 mph.  By the end of the war, only 555 P-51Hs had rolled off the production lines in Inglewood.  This rare example flew in for the annual Pacific Coast Dream Machines show.
