Moffett Field is a regular stopover for the Collings Foundation’s annual “Wings of Freedom” tour with their B-17, B-24, B-25 and TP-51 warbirds.  Nicknamed “Tondelayo” this aircraft replicates the paint scheme of a B-25 named after actress Hedy Lamarr’s character “Tondelayo” in the 1942 film White Cargo.  There are more than one hundred surviving B-25s  scattered over the world, mainly in the United States with about 45 still airworthy.   Nikon D7100 w/80-400mm, processed with Aperture.
