Noodling Around

By Yonni @vegandthecity
With the way this winter weather has hit the Northeast, who doesn't want a hot meal?  And ALL the time?Butterfield Market in NYC has the perfect solution ~ hot, tasty and healthy  ~ at their new noodle soup bar!If it were warmer, you could walk right up to the window, but instead step right inside and get started on assembling your pint of a custom, savory concoction.  First, decide on your broth: roasted vegetable or dashi (like a miso.)  Both are great so you can't go wrong.Second, decide if you want noodles: the rice noodles are vegan.Third, decide if you want an addition: tofu is an extra $1. After you make those selections, they add mixed vegetables, cilantro, scallions and bean sprouts.  It is a full, fabulous meal for $7 or $8!  It is a mere 300 calories per pint if you get noodles, and the tofu only adds another 50.Stop by the Market at Lexington Avenue and 78th today and get ready to get your soup on!Noodling AroundNoodling AroundNoodling AroundNoodling Around
