In the 360-degree campaign of SRL diagnostics, SRL will select women through multiple media such as Facebook, SRL website, collection centers and laboratories throughout India. Women will be selected from the various categories. The categories are described below:
First Timers: In this category, women will be selected who have attempted into a male-driven industry and made a name for themselves and became first woman herself in that industry. Woman for this category will be selected who had been a first woman:
- A cab driver
- Autorickshaw driver
- E-Rickshaw driver
- Truck driver
- DGP of a particular state
- Fire fighter
- Any other first timer in leading category
Survivors: In this category, women will be selected who have beat the odds and are giving back to the society. For this category, woman will be selected who is:
- Acid attack victim survivor bringing a change among others/ fighting for the cause
- Rape victim survivors bringing a change among other sufferers
- Breast Cancer survivor/ Cervical Cancer survivor or any other cancer survivor who is working for other such patients
- Trafficking Survivor who formed a group to support themselves outside of prostitution
Sex worker: In this category, women will be selected who had done something from the following activities:
- Upbringing the children of sex workers
- Helping in improving lives of sex workers in red light areas
- Working to educate daughter of sex workers
Apart from the above Categories following categories can also be targeted: In this category, women will be selected who had done something amazing in the leading industry and made a change in the world and been a inspiration for other women. Woman may be one from listed below:
- Paralyzed woman who is doing something exceptional
- A woman transformed the lives of widows
- A woman who was left on streets during childhood but is now raising unclaimed new born girls as respected citizen
- A woman who declined high paying job by helping the needy person
- A woman for her outstanding performance in the field of Environment protection
- A Dalit woman who fought against violence against Dalit women
The benchmark for selecting women will be based on their experiences and the impact it will leave on society as a whole as an agent of change for women.
