Today's review will be about the Fresh Powerfruit shower gel from the Care Shower range of shower essentials from Nivea. Summer is almost here in my place, so I was in need of a mild shower gel. I like my shower things to smell nice and this one fits into this criterion perfectly. Moreover, I have another cream based shower product from the same brand which worked nicely on my skin. So, this time I thought about giving this variant a try as I heard lots of good reviews about this shower gel. Read on to know more about this berry scented body wash.

You can spread the product directly to the skin as well. Massage the skin with round circular motions to take off the impurities. Use plain water to rinse off the skin.
MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT
Packaging/Availability: This Nivea shower gel comes in a transparent violet plastic bottle with a flip-open lid. The cap is white in colour and the lid is deep blue and translucent. The front side of the bottle contains an eye-candy label graphics depicting fresh blueberries and the backside tells you about the claims, ingredients, manufacture dates etc. As the packaging is the see-through type it is very easy to detect how much product is left. I did not experience any leakage. Overall the packaging is elegant and travel-friendly. The shower gel is easily available online and offline.
Texture: Consistency wise it is a thick gel and the texture is smooth. The consistency ensures that there is no extra product coming out when the bottle is squeezed. So, there is literally no product wastage.
Fragrance: The Nivea body cleanser has a distinct blueberry smell to it. It is of soothing nature and not of 'headache-causing' type. The smell stays for half an hour after and then vanishes.
Suitability: The feel it gives is neither too creamy nor too drying. So, everyone can use it for the summers irrespective of the skin type.
Effectiveness: In the humid summer of my place, a refreshing body cleanser is always welcome after a long tiring and stressful day. That makes me go for nice smelling bath essentials. I find berry fragrances very calming that is why I added this to my summer shopping cart. Since the summer heat is not that scorching yet, I am using it 2-3 times a week as a skin cleanser. It takes very little amount for each use so this one pack is going to last me long I think. When I apply this to my wet skin and rub with a loofa, it produces medium thick creamy lather. The best part of this wash is its fresh blueberry scent that fills my shower as I start applying it. It works as refreshment for the skin and the mind. It cleanses the skin well and does not rip off skin's natural moisture balance. The only con is that you need to use a bit more water to wash off the product from your skin.
FINAL RECOMMENDATION:I would recommend this to someone who is in search of a good mild summer body cleanser with calming fragrance. Every berry scent lover is going to love it!
