The breakup ballad is set to release sometime next week.

Carly Rae Jepsen refuses to settle for one-hit wonder status.  Since February 2012, Jepsen has released three singles from her sophomore album, Kiss, and reached huge commercial success with her hit “Call Me Maybe.”

As summer draws nearer, Jepsen may have another shot at topping the charts with the remix of “Tonight I’m Getting Over You,” featuring Nicki Minaj.

Bubblegum pop meets rockstar attitude when Minaj’s verse breaks through the dubstep-infused track: “I said I’m number one, I’m a son of a gun […] Ain’t tryin’ to be mean, but I’m the queen.”

Set to release next week, the remix leaked online May 2, 2013.

Jepsen released a music video for the track, sans Nicki Minaj, late February.

Check out the remix below and let us know what you think! Do you prefer the song with or without Minaj?
