Can someone please tell me what is happening right now in the NFL. Because it is pure insanity ever day it seems like i see something on TV or the internet how the NFLPA is filling law suits against the NFL. Or today for example the NFLPA contacted the top ten 17 draft prospects to tell them that they should boycott the NFL draft.
Well that makes alot of sense not really because the draft of course will still happen. Roger Goodell will just say the names but, no players will be seen walking across the stage. The players have also said that they would go so far to put the players on another network, which i assume in this case is ESPN.
This makes sense on the players sides because than the NFL would not be making any money because it has a contract to show the NFL draft on ESPN. Also another thing that does not make sense but really im not surprised is when the NFLPA decirtifed.
Essentially they would start handling their buinsess as indivduals. But in all reality they basically still are a union with quotes like this from espn.com NFLPA still exists "as a professional trade association with the mission of supporting the interests and rights of current and former professional football players"
I know how before the president said how he would not intervene in the negotiations between the NFL and the NFLPA but, someone needs to step in now because the way this is going it seems there is no end in sight.
