The two letter domain name NF.com has been hit with a UDRP just a year after it was acquired from Anything.com.

The domain name was owned by Anything.com back in June 2014 and since then has changed hands several times.

4.cn a Chinese based domain broker, owned the domain (possibly under escrow) until August went it was sold to VINCENT CHENG of CRAZY TOP ONE LTD of Auckland.  In January 2015 the domain was registered to another person in Hong Kong.

The domain was then sold to 62.com in January 2015 then transferred to someone in Shenzhenshi China in March

That’s 5 owners in less than a year.

We almost have to assume the original sale by Anything.com was not for a ton of money based on the number of what appears to be several flips.

The UDRP was filed by Association Française de Normalisation (AFNOR)

.nf is the cctld for the Northfork Island

The .nf registry is operated by the Norfolk Island Internet Registry

The Association Française de Normalisation (AFNOR) is the French national organization for standardization and its International Organization for Standardization member body.that offers a certification mark companies which is called “NF”

“Whether you are a consumer, manufacturer or service provider, NF certification is the ultimate accolade: the leading certification mark in France, which enhances your consumer experience and guarantees the excellence of your favorite products and services.

Issued by an independent and impartial body, NF certification guarantees that a product or service meets the requirements described in Certification Rules based on standards. Responding to market expectations, NF certification rules are defined with consumers and professionals.

Getting certified Nothing is compulsory! It is a voluntary process to which the manufacturer or service provider commits themselves. Obtaining NF certification thus lets professionals enhance their know-how and lets consumers buy with peace of mind.”
Each type of product or service has its own certification

“Depending on the type of product or service, 3 certifications are available:

For industrial products and consumer products

For products and services that are environmentally friendly

For services”

This should be an interesting one
