New Year, New Adventures

By Thebusinessgypsy @businessgypsy

2013 is finally coming to a close and it has been a year full of new clients, new friends, family and love, but I am glad to see it go. 2014 is proving to already be an exciting year, with new adventures in store and I am looking forward to each and every one.

Heres to New Adventures in 2014

In 2014, I will be finally getting married to the love of my life. We just celebrated our 7 year anniversary together and I couldn’t be more in love. I always knew I would get married. It was just a matter of when and now I have finally realized that I was supposed to get married in 2014. The number vibration of 2014 is 7, my personal number vibration is 52/7 and we just celebrated our 7 year anniversary. Things couldn’t be more in sync with the universe. I am excited to go on this adventure with my partner in crime and I look forward to what our love will do.

2014 will prove to be my busiest year and it hasn’t even started yet. My business, HC Web Designs, has been operating for almost 4 years now, and I couldn’t be happier. My clients are wonderful, I get to work from my home office and I choose when I went to work. It also helps when things pop up that are out of your control. When I started this business, I thought of it as a means to get out of the corporate work place and stop working for the man. Now, I realize I am supposed to do this. I am supposed to be where I am at to help as many people as I can while also creating the life that I am supposed to live. 2014 I know will bring more clients, more business and more surprises thrown my way, good and bad and with everything that comes my way in 2014, I will enjoy every single second. Including moving to a new state.

My fiancée may have to relocate for work and we find out more details after the first of the new year. I was born, raised and still live in Delaware at the moment and I am kind of nervous to be moving to such a different place. Granted, it is only an hour or so away, I am still a little scared. But with the new year comes new beginnings. With a new life comes new responsibilities. It is hard to imagine living anywhere else besides my little town in Delaware, but new experiences are worth having no matter how scary they seem in the beginning.  This even goes for new construction.

By the end of 2014, we hope to have the gears moving towards building a new house in Delaware, as we are still relocated in our new city and state. It seems a lot to handle, but 2014 is about realizing your dreams and conquering your fears. We hope to build a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms contemporary style house in the middle of the woods, complete with green roof and solar panels. It will be a huge undertaking, especially since we will be an hour and a half away from the construction. Then comes the question of when do we move back to live in the forever home we built for ourselves? 2014 comes with a lot of questions and we hold the key to finding the answers.

I am excited about 2014 with all of the new and exciting things I will be experiencing. With a job I love, a place to call home, a man to love and family to hug, I know 2014 will be an amazing and exciting year. Here’s to new adventures and amazing journeys!

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”Mark Twain
