New Twists on Tea Lights

By Primal Primos @PrimalPrimos

Good lighting sets the stage for a successful event, especially outdoors. A new trend in lighting allows you to get creative and bring some more personal touches into your event. Recently, classic tea light candles have been a very popular choice for event lighting. A current trend is featuring tea lights held in an array of unique objects. Setting the candles in mason jars with some sand or stones in the bottom creates a natural, bohemian vibe. Placing the candles in martini glasses or other glasses with water in them gives the lights a floating, magical look. Tea lights can also be placed in large shells or strung together to create the look of a delicate chandelier. For a less obvious touch of flare, you can wrap a fabric or ribbon with a nice print around the bottom part of the tea light. Some people have even begun anchoring tea lights into small, elegant tea cups to create actual “tea” lights – what a fun twist!

Check out these photos for some inspiration on how to use tea lights to creatively light your next event.
