If you’re into your nail products then you might want to take a trip to the Body Shop soon to check out their new Colour Crush Nail Polish* and Sweet Almond Oil Nail Polish Remover*, as after trying them recently I have been left seriously impressed with these two little products!

The nail polish comes in 24 different shades and the one I fell in love with was 720 Gorgeous Grey. I’ve gone off bright colours recently as I just don’t think my fat fingers and stubby nails suit them, but I’ve found this is the perfect mix between still being a color and still staying quite neutral. The Colour Crush nail polishes are formaldehyde free, 100% vegan and don’t yellow your nails, and I can vouch for the fact they are extremely long lasting! I painted mine on Sunday night ready for the week ahead, and they were still going strong when Friday came around, only getting removed as I wanted to wear a different color for a little while! I love the formula of these as they don’t seem like your average nail polish, they are ridiculously glossy and almost like gel-like on your nails giving that super chic finish. It didn’t seem to take too long for it to dry once I had painted my nails either, two coats took around 20 minutes to dry fully which I don’t think is bad at all, and perfect when you have a certain fluffy dog to run around after! The brush isn’t as thick as I would like, but hey, nothing can be 100% perfect!

As for the Sweet Almond Oil Nail Polish Remover, it gets a massive thumbs up from me too, it’s acetone free and the soya and marula oil that in contains help to nourish and moisturise the nails to keep them in good condition. Now, I wouldn’t go around recommend we all have a whiff of nail polish remover, but if you just have a little smell of this one (holding it far away from your nose!) it actually smells so good… for a nail polish remover anyway. You can really smell the almond oil which I think is a massive bonus as usually I hate all of the smells and fumes when I’m painting my nails, and it works really well removing nail polish quickly with a small amount of cotton wool.

I’m really getting into the Body Shop products recently and couldn’t recommend this nail-loving pair more. You can find them here in the New In section of their website, and I’m already eyeing up a few more shades of the lovely nail polish. What do you think, is it a yay or nay for makeup from the Body Shop? Or do you prefer it only for bath and body products? Let me know in the comments I’d love to hear what you think! :)
