BRTC Aqua Rush Water Drop BB Cream with SPF28/PA++

Here I go with this mini review. I bought this last week and have worn this for a week. Let's be honest here. The first thing that got me attracted to this BB cream was that it was a slightly dark for a BB cream sold in Asia. It is more of a MAC NC25. This is light for me but not too light. The ones I have are more towards an NC20. Usually, I'd only see pink toned bb cream or gray toned bb cream. I find both do not work with my skin very well. The BRTC BB cream I bought is a brown toned BB cream. Rare find, you know. I didn't include the swatch here because this is just a mini review. I'll only do the full review after a month of testing this product out. *Good blogger!* Plus, these photos were captured last week.
Okay, let's get on with the mini review. I wore this to work for a week. The first thing I noticed was it didn't break me out! Woohoo! "Will this break me out?" Surprisingly no. I'm happy. As for the application, you need to warm it out (with your fingers or hand or however you do it) so that it would be easier to blend the BB cream onto your face. Yes, I've tried blending the BB cream without warming it with my fingers and it was hard to blend and the outcome wasn't nice. I've even tried using a brush to apply the BB cream and I find using my fingers was the best option. After applying the BB cream with my fingers and spreading it onto my face, I then buff the BB cream even more with my buffing brush. Easy.
The longest stay on power with this BB cream is up to 6 hours with a good setting powder. Yes, you need a good one to keep it lasting. Without a setting powder or with a useless/crap setting powder, it takes half half the time for the BB cream to stay. Yes, tested. Been there, done that. Or sometimes, it depends on your skin, am I right? 6 hours to me is good but by the end of the day, my make up is all gone - except for eye liner. The day I wore it without the setting powder, my friend told me "your make up is all gone".
This BB cream is suppose to hydrate my dry skin and restore its natural glow, while it evens out the skin tones and helps conceal imperfections. I don't see all of the improvements yet. I have a few imperfections here and there. Maybe after a month, I'll let you know.
Oh yeah, after applying this BB cream and letting it set, I find that it doesn't feel as though I am wearing any BB cream or foundation on top. It feels like my skin. Seriously, it does. Feels very light on the skin too. Well, that is what BB creams are meant for. I bought this BB cream at SASA for RM55 (35g).
