New E-Cookbook: My Yiddishe Vegan

By Saythevword

My Yid Vegan (2)

I’ve been working on this e-book for over 2 years and it’s finally done. Every Chanukah and then every Rosh Hashanah, I’d plan to have this book done but things came up and life got busy. Yesterday when I sat down to write my articles for One Green Planet, their web site was down and it was like a sign that I should pay attention to my e-book.

“My Yiddishe Vegan” is a labor of love. It’s filled with recipes from my childhood, dishes my Mother made, dishes my father and grandfather loved, and dishes I refused to eat as a child but now think are delicious.

There are blintzes, knishes, matzoh ball soup, kasha varnishkes, holishkes, challah, gluten-free challah, vegan chopped liver, vegan Gefilte fish, rugelach, tempeh reuben sandwiches, latkes, braised seitan short ribs, pot roast, French toast, hummus, charoset and so much more.

There are 50 recipes in “My Yiddishe Vegan,” mostly gluten-free. All are approved by friends and family. Full-color photos are included for most of the recipes.

“My Yiddishe Vegan” joins my other e-cookbooks: Holiday Edition, Party Food and Vegan Desserts. Each e-book is $5 payable with PayPal. Or you can choose to receive Holiday Edition, Party Food and Vegan Desserts for $10. Or you can get all 4 e-books for $15. That’s over 150 recipes!

The link to buy them is in the right sidebar of the web site. For one book, select quantity of 1 and specify which book you want. For the $10 deal, select quantity of 2 (you will receive 3 books) and for the $15 deal, select quantity of 3 and you’ll receive all 4 books.

In addition, with any purchase you will receive a copy of The “V” Word Cookbook Preview with 15 vegan and gluten-free recipes FREE. You may also receive this FREE e-book just by emailing [email protected] and requesting it. The e-books are emailed to you (or a gift recipient) right away.

“My Yiddishe Vegan” means so much to me. It’s my past blended with my present and future to create a collection of family traditions made compassionate. Mazel Tov to me for finally finishing it. Enjoy!

The “V” Word: Say it. Eat it. Live it.
