New Canvas Waiting for Paint

Here is a super-quick sneak peek at what is on my easel this week. It’s going to be another ginormous (40″ x 30″) painting of a red-tailed hawk. The design is penciled in on the canvas and ready for the first layer of paint. For comparison, on the right you can see my most recent finished painting.

The colors in this one are also going to be very earthy, but with cooler tones.
