Kathmandu Valley: The road network from Kathmandu extends to the east to Nagarkot (30km), Changunarayan (20 km). Dhulikhel (35km) and to Jiri (188 km). To the north the road goes to Budhanilkantha (10 km) and Sundarijal (20 km). To the west the edge of the valley stops at Kakani (20 km) and in the south at Tikabhairav (20 km). Using these network of paved road short trek around the rim of the valley can be covered. It can always starts and end at any of the above points.
