By Joysautismblog @joysautismblog

Did you know this week is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s actually from May 1st to May 7th but I just learned about this today and I wanted to share. This is just a really important topic for all parents and families to learn about. Pervasive Developmental Disorders are included in the most common mental illnesses in children.

I hope that this information can be helpful and that we can all gain some awareness for families dealing with mental health issues in their children.
