Namepros Members Call Attention to IrmaHurricane.com

Posted on the 09 September 2017 by Worldwide @thedomains

There is a post on Namepros in the warnings and alerts section with regard to IrmaHurricane.com. Quickly members identified the owner, where they lived and where they worked.

The owner joined Namepros and requested that people take his info down. According to the post there was once a Paypal link for donations (I did not see the site at that time) now it’s just a landing page that says contact us.

This is the problem with registering names like this, you could be doing good work and trying to help, I know nothing about this registrant and if they are trying to do good, it’s my belief you should be linking to the Red Cross. It’s an organization that is known worldwide and millions of people donate to them. There has been too much fraud in the past that anyone is every going to just trust a website no one knows and make donations. So if you are looking to do good, put the time in and do things the right way, otherwise you are wasting your time and you might even get labeled a fraudster.

To everyone in Florida be safe.
