CNN reports that two naked men and a man wearing nothing but his underwear allegedly stole about $150 worth of hamburgers, red peppers, and bacon from a restaurant.
Despite it being dark, it was all caught on a security camera. You can view some of the footage here.
3 Questions That Arise From This Story
1. Were the men under the influence of intoxicants, and if so, did they think they were robbing an Abercrombie store? Those stores are pretty dark, so we can understand the confusion.
2. Was this a ploy to avoid being charged with armed robbery if they were caught? Because if you’ve watched the video, they certainly don’t appear to have weapons hidden anywhere.
3. Or were the men imitating the sketches they see on Quebec-based comedy show: Just For Laughs: Gags? Because naked people in stores and other public places seems to be a cornerstone of comedy on that show.
