Myanmar Snapshots 9: Farm Life

By Travellingartist @devtramp

I once took still photos of some 300 Mongolian gers (yurts) on the steppes of Bulgan Province from the passenger seat of a moving Land Cruiser in the span of three days (see my series on A Nomad's Place). The feat was not so much for showing off but just to capture as many images of this interesting subject while moving from place to place on official (non-photographic) mission. Now, it seems that I'll be intermittently doing the same thing in Myanmar in the coming months. The routes of my land travels between townships abound with photo perfect rural scenery but there really is no time to stop and take photos of the scenes every time otherwise my employers would fire me for doing photography rather than what I am being paid to do. And so, just like in Mongolia, I had to snap photos while the car is moving. Many of the photos in this series were taken from a moving car. Here's more.
