Like everyone, I have an origin story. I wasn’t born with my super powers. I don’t have the same silver spoon that Clark Kent does. However, that doesn’t mean that I’m not powerful and striving to make the world a better place now.
Life started back home, out in the country where fields outnumber houses and life is calm. As an adult I moved to the city where I lived in a nice, normal home with a great TV and hot, fresh pizza for dinner. I even worked a normal, somewhat bland, office job to pay the bills and support myself.
But then one day everything changed. There I was, sitting in the office, staring at the computer, using the interwebs for business purposes – when BAM! a beam of data infused light escaped the screen and attacked my senses and my DNA. It was as if my mind exploded with the new knowledge and abilities that were flowing through my body. And in the aftermath I was essentially reborn as the superhero that I am today!
Unfortunately I knew that these new powers would mean that I had to leave the office and life that I knew behind. I wouldn’t miss the work, but I would miss the people. It also meant that I would have to wear slick disguises and do my best to remain incognito as I walked the streets and kept my eye on things. But when danger calls and the people of this fair city need me… I will be there – soaring to the rescue.
So if you see a man standing just outside of the streetlights or flying through to air towards the screams of women and children – don’t be alarmed. It’s just me… I’m here to help.
