Most of you know that my mom passed away in 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. My mom always encouraged me to be creative when I was playing. She would always let me wear her costume jewelry and her high heels around the house. I usually wore a certain pair of her high heels because they were my favorite (makes me wish that I had photos). Playing dress up made me feel like a princess and I loved pretending I was a teacher. If you have a daughter, don’t be afraid to let her play dress up too. You name it, I probably had it!
